The group Woman, Environment and Security was set up in 2003. Its main purpose is propaganda and lobbying issues of safe and stable management of human and natural resources at the level of non-governmental and governmental structures.

Since 2003 the group works at the project entitled Correct Management of Natural and Human Resources, as the Base for Stable Human Development and Global Security.

The group joined the European Commission’s claim to limit distribution of genetically modified products.

In 2003 the group joined the campaign against anti-constitutional actions of the government regarding the planned sale of drinking water resources of Georgia.

In 2004 the project Public Agreement – Spreading and popularization of Estonian Experience in Georgia was launched.

Since its foundation, the group continues working at the draft laws on gender and environment issues.
