Recent political changes caused poverty among the population, which was reflected on the people’s health. The situation is aggravated by the low awareness of the population on their rights. In 2002-2004, the Woman and Health working group implemented a project entitled Woman’s Health – Precondition of Healthy Society. Researches were held in the regions of Georgia, two brochures were published. In 2004-2005, the group worked at the project Activation of Civil Society within Healthcare. the goal of the project was to increase the awareness of women in social and legal issues.
