Office of Democratic Institutions and Human Rights OSCE

http://www.osce.org/odihr/

ODIHR is the main body of OSCE in charge for the ‘human dimension.’ This structure was developed within the Free Elections Bureau, created in 1990 on the basis of the Paris Charter. In 1992, the title of the organization was changed because of its expanded mandate, which included the issues of democratization and human rights.
