The group of regional trainers was formed practically simultaneously with the Coalition formation. In 2001, regional component was added  to the long-term project, the Women’s Leadership and NGO Coalition Building. Coalition members selected two activists from each of 11 regions for further participation. Their first meeting took place in May, 2001. After 5 days of intensive training lead by Polish experts Agneshka Chapchinska and Barbara Limanovska, women returned home to start the main part of the project – to hold trainings and seminars for women of their communities in order to  involve them in a more active social life.
